The central part of the twin screw houses all threaded blocks, kneading blocks and other components mounted on the mandrel. The surface of the mandrel usually has a spline structure (e.g., rectangular or involute splines) to fix the threaded blocks and kneading blocks, ensuring that they rotate synchronously with the mandrel without slipping. The mandrel is precision-ground to control spline size tolerances (<0.01 mm) to ensure the concentricity of threaded components and prevent product defects caused by uneven material mixing.
