Extruder Head

The extrusion head (also known as the "extrusion head head") is the final forming component of the twin screw extruder. Its mounting position is fixed: the end of the cylinder → after the hydraulic replacement screen (if equipped) → the Flange connection of the extrusion head head → the extrusion head body.
Constructive interaction: After mixing, plasticizing and homogenizing the material with the screw, it enters the extrusion die head through the cylinder outlet and eventually gets a fixed shape in the extrusion head cavity.
Location characteristics: Is the connecting component between the extruder and downstream auxiliary equipment (such as cooling water tanks and traction machines), directly determining the molding accuracy of the product.

Main Function of Molding: To give materials a fixed geometric shape
The flow channel cavity inside the extrusion die head (machined according to the design of the product) is the main component. The molten material fills the cavity under pressure and, after cooling, forms a product of the appropriate shape, for example:
Round cavity → Pipes, bars;
Flat-slit cavity → Films, sheets;
Irregularly shaped cavity → Profiles (e.g. door and window frames, special profiles), cable sheaths;
Porous cavity → Granulation pattern (hot cutting/water-cooled granulation).
