P-type Tube

P-type tube is a type of special-shaped pipe. Irregular pipes refer to steel pipes with non-circular cross-sectional profiles and containing symmetrical or asymmetrical shapes, including equal wall thickness, variable wall thickness, variable diameter along the length direction, and variable wall thickness. Common types include square, rectangular, conical, trapezoidal, spiral, etc.

P-type tube can adapt to special usage conditions, help save metal and improve manufacturing efficiency, and are applied in fields such as aviation, automotive, shipbuilding, mining machinery, etc. Irregular seamless steel pipes are divided into three categories: equal wall thickness (D), unequal wall thickness (BD), and variable diameter (BJ). Compared to circular pipes, they have a larger moment of inertia and section modulus, which can enhance bending and torsion resistance and reduce structural weight.
